Welcome to the behind the scenes look at Emily's Fudge Kitchen! Okay, we may not be Britain's Got Talent or Willy Wonka's factory, but I'm really excited to share with you the processes at play that brings you delicious, homemade Dorset fudge, or makes a couple's wedding day that little bit more special. My name is Emily and throughout this blog, you will get to see how we make our fudge, and the painstaking hours we invest in making every wedding tailored to the happy couple.
Where did it all begin?
Since the start of Emily’s Fudge Kitchen in 2016, many of my friends have asked me “Why don’t you start a blog?!” and up until a few weeks ago I didn’t truly know what a “blog” was. I never clicked on one and I never understood why people wrote them. I just thought it was a waste of time. How wrong was I!
After putting in hours of research and reading a variety of different blogs, I have become completely consumed with the inspiration to start a blog for Emily’s Fudge Kitchen.
What can you expect to see in my posts?
Fudge will obviously feature a lot in my blog, as will weddings, but get sit tight because you will be seeing much more of the face behind Emily’s Fudge Kitchen (me), and a mixture of what my team and I get up to, the events we attend and the weddings we help to make happen.
I hope to tell you more about new products and other small businesses too.
Writing has never been a talent of mine and I will tell you now, I am no expert on any of this blogging stuff. I may be a “perfectionist”, at times, but I’m letting you know now I am nowhere near perfect. I guess it will be a lot of trial and error so please bear with me on any grammar/spelling mistakes! Please feel free to always share your advice and communicate with me along the way.
I hope to share with you more of what we do and open up to you because the truth is without you Emily’s Fudge Kitchen would not exist.
